Female client: Arthritis After suffering from back and leg pain and numbness from a herniated disc for several months, my doctor suggested trying acupuncture. I first went along to Karen’s office not really believing that the treatment would make any difference, but knowing I had nothing to lose. The entire treatment is very relaxing and at first I did not notice any improvement, but a few hours later I started to feel better and stayed feeling better. This happened after every treatment until after a few weeks I was feeling my old self again and able to go back to activities such as hiking and skiing.
